The young man asked if he may call her for a date and she graciously accepted his offer. 

 

The Princess was so excited about her encounter that she rushed home to tell her friends and parents about the new and exciting life she was starting to live.  The Princess picked out her favorite outfit and awaited the young man’s call for a date.

The Princess waited and waited and waited and the call never came. 

 

The Princess was disappointed and depressed and she couldn’t understand why the young man told her he was going to call her and then never followed through.
